InsideOut Health + Fitness was established in April 2005 to make a difference for all kinds of individuals to achieve optimal health, fitness, lifestyle and performance goals. Combining the proven success of Barry Samuel’s (Founder) methodology and our dynamic team of coaches and personal trainers, InsideOut Health + Fitness offers an experience unlike any other fitness facility in Toronto. We do not follow pre-packaged workout regimens. Instead, we take the time to listen and find out exactly what you would like to accomplish. JACK MALONE

I have a passion for fitness and personal well being. I like setting aggressive goals for myself and challenging others to do the same in a supportive, safe environment. I have experience training a wide range of individuals and have a keen interest in training elite athletes. I played AAA hockey and baseball and competed at high levels in cross country running, soccer, and badminton. I also enjoy playing golf. I try to push myself and those around me to always get better while having a good time along the way. Things are easier kept simple; simplify and thrive.

DAVIDA VINEBERG

PERSONAL TRAINER, CERT. MUSCLE ACTIVATION TECHNIQUE & BIOMECHANICS SPECIALIST

Having an enthusiasm for all types of workouts for most of her life, Davida became certified as a Personal Trainer in 2005. This quickly led to her exposure to Muscle Activation Techniques, whereupon she enrolled in the first Chicago based internship and became certified as a Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist in 2007. Davida’s lifelong active lifestyle has seen her partake in all sorts of classic exercise formats.

Fit Favourites: Ballet, Pliates, Yoga, Aerobics, and, most recently, bodybuilding.

Wesley is a Health + Fitness enthusiast who is defined by his positivity and knowledge. He helps his clients achieve their goals by empowering them mentally and physically. He is always trying to help his clients improve both their physical and mental well-being by challenging and progressing them. Wesley emphasizes a comprehensive approach to Health and Wellness where everything is tailored to the individual.

LOUXLEY GUNNIS
CPT, NCCP, CERT. FITNESS AND NUTRITION CONSULTANT, HONS.
NATURAL HEALTH CONSULTING – HOMEOPATHY, LI SPIRITUAL HEALING, PERSONAL TRAINER AND NUTRITIONIST

Louxley is a soccer and football player and coach. He has over 15 years experience in the health & fitness industry as a nutritionist and personal trainer and coach. He has a background in natural health consulting with a specialty in homeopathy. He is an expert in supplementing and his interest in using supplements began at a young age. When Louxley was 10 years old, running track and field he was told that running with nutmeg in his mouth would increase his stamina. Ever since then he was aware of the importance of supplementing. His supplement routine is organized into 3 categories: 1- Nutrition to feed my soul: Eating Organics and Juicing 2- Immune Support – Antioxidant Support 3-Performance Nutrition: Protein Powder and a Multi-vitamin. Louxley believes that true change can only begin once you learn to love yourself.

IBRAHIM MEHMOOD

Ibrahim is a health specialist with an immense background in human physiology and anatomy.  He was an amateur kickboxer for three years where after suffering a serious injury had to retire from the sport. He later continued his fitness journey through the bodybuilding industry where he has competed in national level bodybuilding shows. He helps his clients by motivating and teaching them the basic components of health/fitness and encourages them to be the best version of themselves.

HEATHER JENELLE SCHMIDT

Heather has a deeply rooted understanding of how a holistic approach to a persons health is the best form of healing and is truly the cornerstone of a happy life. She became a certified yoga teacher at the age of 19 and then went on to further her studies at George Brown Colleges Health Science campus. Since graduating from the Health and Fitness Promotion Program, Heather has been teaching and training all over the city, from downtown corporate gyms to outdoor bootcamps in Scarborough to private studios like InsideOut! Heather specializes in HITT and circuit training, making exercise both enjoyable and educational for her clients. When she is not exercising or teaching, you can find her camping in the wild, practicing yoga, painting or cooking up delicious vegan food. Make sure to say hello if you see her at the studio, she is very excited to be a new member of the team and to share her creativity, playfulness and care with the community!
